लॉकडाऊन (Lockdown) मध्ये नागरिकांना आर्थिक फटका बसला आहे. काहींच्या नोकऱ्या गेल्या आहेत तर काहींचे उद्योग धंदे बंद पडले आहेत. अशा परिस्थितीत महागईने तोंड वर काढले आहे. कांदा-बटाट्यानंतर आता अंड्यांच्या किंमतीत वाढ झाली आहे. एका अंड्यामागे 1 रुपये प्रति भाव वाढले आहेत.
या आधी 1 डझन अंड्यांची किंमत 60 रुपये डझन होती. तीच अंडी आता 70 रुपये डझनने विकली जात आहे. तसेच शेकडा 100 नग 450 रुपये होते तेच आता 550 रुपय शेकडा 100 नग झाले आहे.[Rising egg prices, the price of a dozen eggs ...]
दुसरीकडे गावठी अंड्यांचे दर 150 डझन असून यामध्ये वाढ झालेली नसल्याचे दुकानदारांनी सांगितले आहे. अशीच अंड्यांची कमतरता जाणवली तर अजून भाव वाढण्याची शक्यता दुकानदारांनी सागीतले आहे.
